Ancient Hackney - Dedicated to the history and symbolism of Ancient Hackney. Passing centuries brought many changes to the area and in 2012 the Olympic Games was staged in Hackney. Its no coincidence the site is placed in the middle of the most powerful leylines running around the world connecting with numerous sacred locations including Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Britain, Israel, and Egypt. To learn more about the Olympic site please watch Rik Clay's (RIP) film (posted here).

City of london Symbolism Slide Show -YT
Getting into privately owned corporate buildings is always worth a look. Open City London provide the bridge between the man on the street and the pinstriped cads of the city. Our only complaint is that two days are not enough and next year we'll need a team of bloggers on the case. We've taken around 1,000 snaps of our city of birth and shall post them in coming days / weeks. We produced this short youtube video to save visitors having to click images although we will also be posting the photographs here as well...

Hidden Stone Circle in Victoria Park
If you take away one thing from this blog then let it be awareness of environment. Open your eyes and look around the streets you walk down daily and you will soon notice connections to ancient knowledge and the realisation that the subjects we speak of here on this blog are ultimately a global phenomena.
Case in Point: Victoria Park, i been going for decades and never noticed or knew of this stone circle. Located at 'Mark's' Gate on the Cadogan Terrace end of park. Opposite the stone circle are terraced houses and one of them contain a Dragon, there's also a pub called Top of the Morning (Sun Sign) on the corner. Running alongside the pub is the canal and one minutes cycle ride in a straight line from the stone circle through the house with dragon / the pub and then the Olympic site.

St John at Hackney Churchyard PT.2 2010
St John's Churchyard contains many notable grave sites from centuries ago which all point to the fact Hackney was an important place for many different reasons. As mentioned in side notes we're not really interested in the colorful background of this famous borough as too many sites attempt to do that anyway. Some stones have an Egyptian style and others bare sun symbols. The engravings on older stones cannot be read and many you'd be surprised to learn are literally just thrown together in one corner of the churchyard which is also a main causeway for pedestrians going to the shops on the main road. I'll post something about that later but for now intrepid explorers take a look at these photos...
