Ancient Hackney - Dedicated to the history and symbolism of Ancient Hackney. Passing centuries brought many changes to the area and in 2012 the Olympic Games was staged in Hackney. Its no coincidence the site is placed in the middle of the most powerful leylines running around the world connecting with numerous sacred locations including Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Britain, Israel, and Egypt. To learn more about the Olympic site please watch Rik Clay's (RIP) film (posted here).

St John's (Augustine) Forgotten Gravestones
Here's more from the series of shots i took at St John's (Augustine Tower). The red X roughly marks the spot where the stones are today though as you can see from the original church blueprint the complex was pretty grand. The tower which is pictured elsewhere is quite big which means the church took up considerable space. The church was knocked down and certain original features were built into the new structure of St John. This is an important site given that history states the Knights Templar were given Hackney after being disbanded and hunted by the pope in the thirteen century. Ley markers indicate several ley lines run through the area.
